Sunglasses not only provide a way to remove glare from the water surface to be able to see fish more clearly but they also protect from an accident that could result in the loss of your sight.

With everything at the end of a fishing line involving hooks of some kind or another and being around buddies in a cramped boat the inevitable hook up is going to happen. Rather than risk your eye sight wear a pair of sunglasses.
